The SCCMSA is the grassroots arm of the American Medical Alliance and the Illinois State Medical Alliance.

The SCCMSA has been providing health education for the citizens of St. Clair County for 77 years. Founded in 1931 as the St. Clair County Medical Society Auxillary and then changing its name to the St. Clair County Medical Society Alliance in the mid 1990's, our volunteer organization of dedicated physican spouses has maintained its mission of supporting the family of medicine and providing health education programs througout the county.

The Alliance lives this mission and has truly become a force in St. Clair County through our community health and legislative endeavors. Just as important, however, is the friendship and support we provide each other as spouses of physicians...the one quality that makes our organization unique!
